Wedding

This weekend Steve was in a wedding for his friend Matt. Because Steve was a groomsmen we were involved in the entire wedding weekend. On the Friday night was the rehearsal at the church and then the grooms dinner was at the Rustic Inn near Two Harbors. After the dinner we all went back to the hotel where we stayed all weekend - Grand Superior Lodge.

Saturday we relaxed most of the morning, since the wedding wasn't until 2. Steve had pictures around 11, so me and some of the other girls just hung out at the hotel and had breakfast. After the wedding, we came back to the hotel for a social time and the reception. It wasn't super warm up the shore, but the wedding was beautiful and the sun was shining.

Jack's 6th Birthday

This year we decided again not to do a friends birthday party for Jack. He's hasn't been attending many this year and he agreed he would rather take a family trip to the cities to stay in a hotel.

Anyway - this past weekend we had a family party at home, but we invited a few of Jack's close friends, Easton and Eagan. It helped make it a little more fun for Jack and Olivia. And the theme was Avengers, so we made some Avenger goody bags for our guests and made sure to decorate the house with all Avenger stuff.

We did the usual opening of presents, had lunch, and then played with all the new stuff.

Jack - Missing Tooth #4

Jack lost is 4 tooth tonight and it seems his teeth are falling out very quickly and pretty young. Here he is now with his bottom two middle ones already grown back in, but the top two missing.

Snow

I thought we were done with snow for the year, but I guess not. I'm sure we've got over a foot of snow and the kids/Steve are missing more school in April than in the entire year.

Princess for a Day

This past weekend I took Olivia to an event at the YMCA in Duluth called "Princess for a Day". We were supposed to meet up with Jayme and Brooklyn, but they didn't make it until about half way through the day because Brooklyn was napping. At first Olivia was a little shy, but opened up once one of the girls did her make-up and put a tattoo on her face.

They had a number of stations they could rotate to including; coloring, make-up, dress-up, cookie decorating, making a sash and crown, and learning how to drink tea like a princess. After they had a quick lunch while watching a move and then we took off a little early before the fashion show started.

Easter

For Easter we headed to church in the morning and then over to Grandma & Grandpa Johnson's house for lunch. G&G Battaglia were in Florida on Easter, so we were unable to see them.
