Olivia's Preschool Graduation(s)

Olivia had 2 preschool graduations this year. One from Li'l Lumberjacks and the other from Queen of Peace. It's sad that she will no longer be in preschool, but exciting that she'll be at Washington with Jack.

For Li'l Lumberjacks they had all the kids walk up and get a diploma and then they performs a handful of songs. After they had cookies and juice.

For Queen of Peace they also walked up to get a diploma, but it was part of a bigger school assembly.

My Birthday

I typically never do anything fun for my birthday, but this year I wanted to at least get out for dinner and a few drinks. This past weekend we had a group of about 9 that went to dinner at Tycoon's and 2 more people met us out for a few drinks at Blackwater.

Jack's Friend Birthday

Yesterday we had Jack's friend birthday party at the Heritage Sports Center in Duluth. Starting in April they put turf on one of the ice rinks, so you can really play any sport. Jack wanted to do baseball, so we asked each kid to bring a glove and then split up the teams. The boys had a blast and it was nice to just let them run around.

After we spent an hour in there, we went up to the party room for pizza and snacks. Once we were done opening presents, we headed back down to the turf for a game of kickball.

Lumberjack Laps

The kids had Lumberjack Laps on Saturday and both did a good job running. It was really nice out and a great day to be outside.

Olivia ended up getting 2nd place of all her age group.
