Sick again

The past few days Jack has not been feeling well and has had a mild fever - just over 100. We could tell that he has been achy because he would cry when we picked him up or even when he needed to move. We have been giving him Tylenol and that seemed to make him ok. This morning he was back to playing and laughing like his usual self and so I went into work and left him at Grandma Johnson's. When I got home - his fever had really gone up again, so we decided it was best that he see the doctor. Since it was after 5pm we needed to go to Urgent Care were the wait time was about 2 hours. We could tell Jack was quickly getting more feverish and by the time we saw the doctor his temperature was 104.2 degrees. Turns out - not only does he have a cold with a runny nose and a cough - but he has an ear infection and most likely strep throat. No wonder he would cry every time he had to cough and didn't want to swallow anything. The doctor prescribed some medication and said he should feel better within 24-36 hours.
