My New Big Boy Room

This past weekend we finally finished putting together Jack's new room. We painted it a different color, got him a little chair and table set, and the biggest milestone - a new big boy bed. We are just putting him on a Twin mattress for now, but he seems to be loving it. We started out letting him sleep there on Sunday for his nap and he was so proud to climb right in and close his eyes. Since then he has slept there every night without waking up. I'd like to believe it would be this simple, but we're just waiting for him to realize that he is not confined and that he can actually get out.


Another thing we have noticed in the past few days is that Jack wants to sing his nursery rhyme songs on his own. Every night he goes through this session of singing Baa Baa Black Sheep, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat, Twinkle Twinkle, and a few more.
