Yesterday I had my weekly doctor's appointment and Steve was able to come with me since he is out of school for the summer. I was scheduled to have an ultrasound to check the baby's position since we've been told she might be breech. As anxious as we were to find out if the baby had turned, we were more curious to get another confirmation on the gender. We did find out the little one is head down, but unfortunately, there was no cooperation in revealing boy or girl, so I guess we'll just have assume girl for now and wait a few more weeks to know for sure.
The doctor also realized that my blood pressure is starting to creep back up. Nothing too serious at this point, but I will have some labs this week and had to make another appointment to go back Monday afternoon. As you may remember I was induced with Jack, essentially without warning, because of my blood pressure - so it is good that we are keeping a close eye on it. I think Steve is just praying that things will stay ok for this week as he has an overnight golf outing in Brainerd on Thursday night.
