Jack and the Bean Stalk

A few months ago Jack went up to Two Harbors to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Battaglia. While there, he helped them plant some beans in their garden and was also given his own beans to plant here at home. We first put them in wet paper towels and in a plastic bag for a few days. Once they started to sprout we planted in them in planter on the deck. We have been watering them all summer and they are really growing well.

I think Great-Grandpa Battaglia would be pretty proud of Jack.
