Last night for New Year's Eve we headed out to the Harker's house around 5. We ordered pizzas for supper and let the kids eat quick before the chaos began. There were 8 kids there under the age of 6 and it was wild. Around 8:30 we had a little "celebration" for the kids complete with sparkling grape juice, plastic champagne glasses, silly straws, and meat/cheese appetizers. They toasted each other for the New Year and then we let them blow the noise makers for about 30 seconds. Once that was over we got them all into their pajamas and created a make shift movie theater with bean bags, blankets, and the kids had to purchase movie tickets to enter. They watched the movie for about 45 minutes while we made them some popcorn and then we headed home about 9:45. The kids were pretty tired so they went right to bed, while Steve and I stayed up for the East Coast New Year and then went to bed.
Here's a few pics from the night...
