4th of July

The 4th of July was pretty busy for us this year because both Steve and I were volunteering in the community to make all the events happen. He helped out with the 5k run in the morning and once he was home we headed to the parade with the kids.

After, I went down to Veteran's park to get face painting set up and run the Dash for Cash event, while Steve took the kids over to Grandma & Grandpa Johnson's. Later in the afternoon, my work sponsored a party at The Beach, so I helped coordinate that.

In the evening, we were able to get some mini donuts and cheese curds and watch the fireworks. Jack didn't really like how loud they were, but Olivia loved them.
