Crosslake

This year we left for Crosslake on Wednesday night. When we arrived, it was in the 90s and so hot you could hardly do anything. We visited for a while before all going to bed in our air conditioned campers.

Thursday, the heat was exactly the same, so we spent most of the day at the beach. Thankfully we were able to sit in the water and the kids played in the lake the entire time. In the evening, we went out to eat to avoid cooking and then for ice cream.

Friday, the heat broke and the weather was great. Most of us tubed down the river and the kids really liked it. After a quick trip to the beach we went back and ate supper, went mini golfing, and then had a bonfire.

Saturday, was much cooler so we drove to Emily for the Emily Days Parade and festival. We ate lunch in the park there and then headed back to the campground. In the evening, we went to listen to some music nearby and then back for another bonfire.

Sunday morning we just woke up and made the drive home.
