Today was Jack's third birthday. Of course as mentioned many times before with the growth of my kids - it crazy to believe that it's been an entire 3 years since he was born. He has become such a little boy in the past year and now carries on full conversations and is able to be so much more independent...but has yet to become potty trained. (This past week he actually went potty on the toilet 7 times at daycare - so let's hope we are on to something here. Although those very same days refused to go potty at home or at grandma's. He definitely has a mind of his own.)
Today we had his birthday party at home and just invited our families over. We grilled even though the weather was crappy, then opened presents, and ate Mickey Mouse cake and ice cream. Jack got a ton of presents including an electric drum set, a fishing pole, a Spiderman bike, a hopping ball, and a fast car (really it only goes 3 mph, but that seems pretty fast when I'm chasing after him).
Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us.
