Surgery Follow-up Appointment

Today was Olivia's follow-up appointment to her surgery in July. Dr. Vandersteen was coming up to Duluth today, so we scheduled an ultrasound and meeting with him all in one shot. Olivia wasn't too happy about having the ultrasound done, but was quite the smiley little girl for the doctor. He's such a nice doctor and we've had such a great experience with him.

He looked over the images and charts and said her kidneys and bladder look 100% perfect. We were told to  discontinue her daily antibiotic that she has been on since January, so we are pretty happy about that. This is something we've really been waiting for since she's been on some medication or another, every day, since she was 3 weeks old. Now this will be the true test to see if the surgery has worked. If she goes without any UTI's she will not have to see him again until right around her 2nd birthday.
