We have been so busy lately with Jack having soccer 2 nights a week, we've had a few weddings, and starting to get stuff ready for back to school that I've hardly had any time to update the blog. Hopefully things will get better once school starts and life slows down.
Last Thursday, the kids went with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson to Hayward camping. I worked Friday morning and then Steve and I left to meet them at the KOA. Immediately upon arriving we set up our camper and then Jack insisted we go over and plan miniature golf.
After, we went our for a quick dinner in town and then back to jump on the bouncy pillow and have a quick campfire. It was only about 50 degrees out, so we headed to bed pretty early.
Saturday morning was up for some pancakes and then once it warmed up, we took the kids down the water slide and then Jack wanted to go swimming in the pool. He is getting really good in the water and loves having his goggles. In the evening we just ate at the camp site, went for ice cream, and then had another campfire.
Sunday morning, we got up and headed home before noon. That was our last time camping for the year, so now we've got to get the camper all cleaned out and ready for storage.
