Every year Christmas is a very busy time, but it seems like as the kids are getting older, it's easier and easier. It's nice not to worry about naps, diaper bags, schedules, etc...They are getting pretty independent and this makes having 6 different Christmas celebrations much easier.
We had both of our immediate family celebrations last weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Johnson's house for dinner and to open presents. We opened the gifts first because the kids didn't want to wait. As usual, they got a lot of good stuff, including a Wii that has been one of our funnest gifts so far.
On Sunday afternoon we had a very similar plan for Grandma & Grandpa Battaglia's house. Dinner, presents, and hanging out for a few hours. Jack got a few more games for his Nintendo DS and Olivia got a Baby Alive doll that walks.
