We've got our schedule for Christmas pretty well planned out from year to year with minimal changes, so that's nice. Celebrations 3 and 4 both took place on Christmas Eve, so we started off the day by heading up to Two Harbors, around 1pm, to the Superior Shores hotel for the extended Battaglia Christmas. The group had rented a suite hotel room where we could have all the food and eat and then a larger party room for us to open presents and visit. It was much easier this year opening presents in the larger room with the little kids.
We stayed up there until about 6:00 and then started the drive back to Cloquet for the extended Burman Christmas. We met up with them at my Grandpa Burman's house at 7:30, had a few appetizers, and then opened presents. We stayed until about 9:00 and then headed home to wait for Santa's arrival. (sorry, no pictures of this...must have been too late)
