For Thanksgiving, we went to great-grandma Johnson's house for lunch, but I neglected to take any pictures. Then after Jack woke up from his nap, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Battaglia's house, and again didn't take any photos. So all and all we had a great day with lots of good food and company, but no pictures to prove it.
Yesterday we went to cut down our own Christmas tree. This year Jack actually got out of the truck and was able to walk around in the little bit of snow we have. He got to wear his boots for the first time and it was pretty funny to watch him walk around as if they were ski boots. This year we decided to get a really small tree and put it in our entryway, behind the baby gate, rather than in our living room where Jack would most likely tear it down. It actually looks pretty lame and disappointing, but not as depressing as having my decorations and tree pulled down several times. Once we got our tree up, Steve decided to hang our outside lights, only to discover none of them were working. So, off to Walmart to buy all new icicle lights. I have yet to decorate the house for Christmas, but that is my job today since I have off.
