Jack's 3yr Checkup

Yesterday, Steve and I took Jack to his 3yr checkup at the clinic. Before we met with the doctor they did an ultrasound of his kidneys just to make sure everything was ok, since Olivia has her kidney issues. Turns out he has 2 very healthy kidneys and everything looked normal. Once the doctor came in, Jack was of course being a little show off and was told he talks way more than most 3yr olds to the doctor (she said most kids that age are scared her). Dr. Manney had him do a number of things including; standing on one leg, hopping like a frog, reaching up to the sky and then touching his toes. Of course he wasn't the most cooperative, but we know Jack can do all of these things. During the appointment Jack also had a vision and hearing screening. They said typically most 3 year olds don't have the patience to complete these tests, but they like to try them anyway.

Jack's 3yr stats were:
  • Height: 38 1/4" (62%)
  • Weight: 34 lbs. (73%)
After the appointment we took Jack out for pancakes at Perkins. First we stopped in West Duluth, but Jack was misbehaving so badly we had to leave the restaurant even after we ordered our drinks. Then after he cried half way home because he realized he wasn't getting his pancakes, he agreed to be a good boy and we went to Perkins in Cloquet.
