Today we participated in the National Kidney Foundation's annual walk in Duluth. We signed up to walk a few months ago and have been fundraising ever since. With a few last minute donations that we brought in today, our team, Olivia's Walkers, raised over $1,600. Steve and I were pretty surprised at how much money we ended up raising since we started out with an initial goal of $500.
The walk took place down at Bayfront park in Duluth where they had food tables set up, a band playing, and a lot of people walking. After we walked a few laps around the park we ate pizza and sat around for bit.
Thanks again to everyone who supported us and Olivia by either donating money or walking with us today.
