Santa's Home for the Holidays

This year was my first time participating and being on the committee for the Santa's Home for the Holidays weekend of events in Cloquet. Members Cooperative and Cloquet Ford are the 2 main sponsors for the weekend, so myself and the owner of Cloquet Ford were the head planners.

In addition to all the other things going on in town, at MCCU we had our portion of the event yesterday. We'd been preparing all week by decorating the office, picking up food and treats, preparing 300 s'mores, and building our float for the parade. Steve brought Jack over to see Santa and I think he told him he wanted some hunting stuff and a truck. Jack changes his mind by the minute for his Christmas requests, but this is the first year that Jack was actually willing to sit on Santa's lap.
